Wednesday Whimsy #31

Wednesday Whimsy #31

Bonjour and happy Wednesday. I’ve been jumping head first into the Halloween holiday season, which for me starts September 1 since one month just isn’t enough. Pleasantly, surprisingly I have a few non-fiction French books that fit into spooky-themed reading so keep an eye out for those reviews if you’re interested. Or you can follow me on Goodreads to see what I’m up to.

Book
I recently finished the second book in the Cassidy Blake series by Victoria Schwab. I cannot properly express how much I love this series, how perfect it is for Fall holiday reading, and how delightfully Paris is captured. Read my full review on Goodreads and here are links for purchase in hardcover, kindle, and audiobook.

Check out these absolutely dreamy pictures of Paris in the 1930’s. I wish I had plans to visit Amsterdam before this show is gone.

T.V.
This week I started watching Black Spot on Netflix. I haven’t been watching much t.v. and it’s the first show to capture my attention in a long time. It’s about a tiny sleepy French village in the middle of a forest that has an unusually high amount of murders. Tis the season!
